Objective: To evaluate postoperative changes of the refraction and anterior chamber deep variation after cataract surgery in case of single piece IOL (foldable).
Methods: A retrospective study of 100 cases operated on by a single surgeon team from september 2005 to march 2006.
Results: The measurement made 3 days after the surgery and after one month showed that most of the pacients refraction has been changed (miopisation) and anterior chamber deep has been modified
Conclusions: The use of nonangulated single pieces IOLs induces postoperative changes of the refraction (miopisation) in corelation with anterior chamber deep and capsulorexis diameter.
